We conducted a Medical Camp inMeethotamulla, Sri Lanka on 09-09-2017 to provide medical services to the residents. 272 residents of the area were benefited
from this camp funded by White Bird, Japan.
This is an area with a higher requirement of health services especially due to to the exposure of residents to various health risks after the recent collapse of the Meethotamulla garbage dump, killing at least 19 people including five children.
We conducted a similar programme in 2016 in the same area to help flood victims.
Two medical clinics were held in Aththidiya and Badowita on 10-09-2017.
